Then why do you think it's so important to arrest this guy and send him back, when Mexico is protecting murderers and rapists who have escaped from our country? They actually seem to give these people a special status. Not only that they give Mexican citizens in the U.S. consular cards and let them escape to Mexico if they commit a crime here. So we are going to spend more effort finding a person for Mexico then we will for someone who broke our law? Why should we even do this unless they were willing to send that cop killer back? If this were a murderer, maybe I could see wanting to get rid of him, but he didn't even break a law that is commonly recognized. I've never seen this guys movies or shows, but I think this is bizarre.
He broke the law and jumped bail. I didn't say it was "important", just justified.
