I was going to humbly suggest to "mkjessup" that it was (ahem) satire.

Hell's Belle's, I even went on a different browser to CBS's wesite and found it!

This is beyond infantile!

I didn't expect to like her because she is such a lib and I am an evil Republican (heh heh)but I didn't expect her to come off looking so bad. Is reading a teleprompter really that hard? I am shocked! I'll watch her again in a month or so to see if she has improved and this blog of hers, what a screw up.

My take on this woman getting this job at this time is that she is PERFECT. By which I mean, a medium that is vapid and without legitimacy has finally bumbled into a personality that suits it to a tee. The best thing is, you can miss the CBS Evening News every "evening" the rest of your life and miss nothing. While that's been true for decades, the fact is Couric is the personality who best conveys the nothingness. Even "puff" can cause the meter to flicker a moment. But we are now at Absolute Zero.

Until I read your post, I didn't imagine...

I almost responded to you that the satire was obvious and you were blind - but then I clicked on the link! I apologize for doubting your sanity.

This is making me look forward to listening to Rush today - although I don't know how he could make it any funnier than just to READ it out loud.
