Well, you could always have LTC check with a couple of 30-year NCO's for suggestions. It's widely held among Navy NCO's that one reason that kerry (NO, I won't capitalize his name...ever) asked for Swiftboat duty was that it reduced the distance he would have to "fall" off the fantail.
