I know this article is somewhat dated, but I feel it is even more timely now. The recent revelation that it was Richard Armitage who initially leaked the name of CIA Agent Valerie Plame, the increasing number of Democrats who disparage our troops and the efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, the NYT leaking classified data, Foreign leaders like Hugo Chavez quoting the left's talking points re conspiracy theories of 911, even left-wing, has-been, wacko Rosie O'Donnell saying that ""Just a minute," she interrupted. "Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America where we have separation of church and state." There are literally hundreds of recent examples of the left's increasing lunacy. The new movie being released depicting President Bush's "assassination" shows just how prescient the following passage was:
[You simply can't dismiss this rampant violence with meaningless platitudes designed to establish a false moral equivalence. There is no moral equivalence. Nor is there any way to casually write off the all-too-frequent calls for President Bush's assassination from leftist loons, or the mainstream media's utter lack of outrage by them.]

Maybe a compilation should be made of every lunatic left display, between now and the elections. Jimmy Carter's sure has been embarrassingly loony lately too. He just can't seem to keep his mouth shut, especially on foreign soil.

You might also want to check out a fellow FReeper's books:
Warmongers and Traitors - Thoughts on the War with Iraq
and A Quagmire of Hate: The Post Election Liberals.
Both expose the "grassroots" of the moonbats from the DU, KOS points of view.

Lol. Well, you know the old saying, "insanity is doing the same thing, over and over and over and expecting a different result."

I
used to think the left was unhinged. Now, I believe this is who they really are and they would gladly throw the US Constitution under the bus to regain control and/or further their ideals.
They just haven't had much reason to show their true colors until the Pubs took over everything.
To: TNdandelion
Right. I just think they're incompetent and that incompetence could harm us all. All you have to do is look at the failed foreign policy, mismanagement of intelligence agencies and non-response to terrorism in the Clinton Administration which resulted in 911. To be perfectly honest, the Bush admin. is far from perfect in these respects too, but they're a vast improvement over anything the Dems can offer.

I fully agree with Michelle Malkin. The whole group is filled with rampant hysterics and I honestly believe they're having a complete breakdown.

"This book," writes Michelle, "is not about liberals being liberal. It is about liberals who've lost their grip on sanity and reality." ...Like that old hag-on-the-street interviewed by KOMO TV on 9/11 a couple days ago on her opinion of the work KOMO labeled a "movie", "Pathway to 9/11." Her response (paraphrased): "I don't think the networks should be showing lies and misinformation." Wonder what she thought of Michael Moore's mockumentary.

Huffington's remark was outrageous and she showed herself to be a complete idiot. I thought liberals always pride themselves on their "compassion" for their fellow man.

The Democratic party has embraced the fringe. You see the result. This Democratic party is not the same as it was at the time of Roosevelt, etc.

But I'm sure she has no objection to a movie having a scene showing an assassination of a sitting POTUS.
