I will include this one in my group until told it does not belong there. Is this a real picture or is it photoshopped?

From reference.com:

On August 11 1999, Clinton commuted the sentences of 16 members of FALN, a violent Puerto Rican nationalist group that set off 120 bombs in the United States usually in New York City and Chicago, convicted for conspiracies to commit robbery, bomb-making, and sedition, as well as for firearms and explosives violations. None of the 16 were convicted of bombings or any crime which injured another person, and all of the 16 had served 19 years or longer in prison, which was a longer sentence than such crimes typically received, according to the White House. Clinton offered clemency, on condition that the prisoners renounce violence, at the appeal of 10 Nobel Peace Prize laureates, President Jimmy Carter, the cardinal of New York, and the archbishop of Puerto Rico. The commutation was opposed by U.S. Attorney's Office, the FBI, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons and criticized by many including former victims of FALN terrorist activities, the Fraternal Order of Police, members of Congress, and Hillary Clinton in her campaign for Senator. Congress condemned the action, with a vote of 95-2 in the Senate and 311-41 in the House. U.S. House Committee on Government Reform held an investigation on the matter. The Justice Department prevented the FBI from testifying at the hearings. President Clinton cited executive privilege for his refusal to turn over some documents to Congress related to his decision to offer clemency to members of the FALN terrorist group.

* Attorney General Janet Reno "thought retaliation might violate international law and was therefore against it." * CIA Director George Tenet "wanted more definitive proof that bin Laden was behind the attack, although he personally thought he was." * Secretary of State Madeleine Albright "was concerned about the reaction of world opinion to a retaliation against Muslims and the impact it would have in the final days of the Clinton Middle East peace process." (How did that turn out, by the way? Big success, I take it? Everybody over there all friendly with one another?) * Secretary of Defense William Cohen "did not consider the Cole attack 'sufficient provocation' for a military retaliation."

Clinton's legacy writ large.

A nonphotoshopped pic would be nice.

Not that I don't like Ann but I think this is pshopped and something about pasting a gun in someone's hand makes me a little uneasy.

But if that's really her then great. You'll never have to photoshop a gun into my hands.

I don't think that's photo shopped.
On Ann's web site there's pics of her with firearms.

But I don't have any pics bookmarked so I have do to a Google search each time. And it seems the DUers have 'Google bombed', Ann Coulter. Most of the 1st pics are nasty .gifs and such.

A brief stall in the rewite of history was instituted when all these small pieces were collected and put into "The Path to 9/11". Once people have seen a visual depiction of events, and heard the words (accurately) spoken in conjunction with those visual images, they tend not to forget too quickly. But over time, as the various copies of "The Path to 9/11" go out of circulation, or are recalled and placed into sealed storage, the general population will cease to remember, or never hear, of the events of that time span. Only if the events depicted are incorporated into a newer work, are these events likely to be refreshed in the collective knowledge of humanity.

Consider the plight of the ancient world when the libraries of Alexandria were sacked by savages. Much history and learning were destroyed, and men had to learn, painfully, all over what they had once taken for granted.

The "Ann Rule", you forgot about the "Ann Rule"

I'm not sure what she has to do with this thread, but here's a picture of Ann Rule.

Brilliant article!

I only have one point of contention here. Most of the attacks on Clinton's watch were overseas, and Ann (Tight Dress Be Upon Her) says that since 9/11, there have been no attacks on America. There have, however, been many attacks on Americans and American targets. The big difference, though, is that the attacks are now taking place because we have finally engaged the enemy. If Clinton had done his job, we might have the ugliness behind us by now. As it is, President Bush has risked his career and sacred popularity rating many times over in pursuit of the thugs and animals who Clinton virtually ignored. He has drawn their fire off of American civilians and at-ease soldiers, and instead turned their attention to an armed and dangerous military who can fight back (except in cemeteries).

I attended an Ann Coulter speech event in my hometown and there were questions from the audience afterward. Someone asked if she was seeing anyone. Ann responded with something like "I have a dog."

So I wonder if that is her dog?

I like beagles too.
