Oh, geez. Come on! The potential for a small fire to start and eventually rage through the building was huge here! For instance, with electronic components the way they are, it doesn't take much for, say, a damaged p.c. assembly to short and ignite. Once it started, people were too busy trying to find and help others after the collapse, not to mention firetrucks were probably buried, etc., etc., etc!

I don't care what the final format is. And even if it's a final format, I can re-encode it into something else anyway.

My point is that choppy transitions in the video were a result of one of two possibilities; using the camera or the deck to cut the video...that's about it.

Using Avid or Vegas would not produce those funky transitions between video clips...those appear to be left as-is, and the only real editing was the Intro and Outro. The other "outtakes" were done with hardware.

I'm really not sure what the argument is.

The fact that it is relatively easy to disprove almost every conspiracy only reflects on the looniness, laziness (hello internet research - duh) and lack of empirical evidence that just makes these false accusations all that more infuriating.

Take a huge jetline LOADED WITH FUEL. Crash it into a structure.

The FUEL made the fire burn at unbelievable temperatures. It blew all the fireproofing OFF the steel..making the steel vulnerable to the HEAT. This began to weaken the structure (heat melting steel) at the intial crash site(s)..As those floors fell..the sheer WEIGHT of them began an irreversable process..THAT is what brought the rest of the WTC down..the WEIGHT from above.

I'm really not arguing, but I can tell you with all certainty that in FCP those transitions can be reproduced with very little effort. Not all of the edits were 'produced' from what I remember of the original, but the the removal of the 2nd plane hitting was done post cam. There is a CNN documentary available on DVD about 9/11 that has their newscasts and various other video they obtained and some of this footage from this camera, including the 2nd plane hitting and the woman crying, are on it.
