In a later conversation with P.D. and Mason they asked me what the heck their signs saying "Support the Troops.....Not the War" are supposed to mean.
They very emphatically stated, "You CANNOT support the Troops without supporting what we do, which is fighting the war!"
Imagine if I said I support my wife being a nurse, but don't want her to treat patients, which would be wrong. That would be enough of a silly contradiction. But then apply the Code Pink method: I tell my wife I support her as a nurse, but then say those who trained her and hired her like it when she kills patients. Then I keep expecting her to regard her as a supporter, and bristle at any suggestion by anyone that I am not 100% in her corner.
After I got up off the floor and got my broken jaw set, I think I'd be due in court, because she'd be divorcing me. But Code Pink expects people to not only buy this crap, but laud them for it and count them as supporting the troops more than we do.
