It's funny that housing prices increase 6% or more per year but salaries and wages on average are around 2-3%?

Must be that housing bubble bursting./s

I'm all for a burst that slows down the double diget increases in home prices. 4.4% sounds about right.

The speculators have give way to the low balling "bottom feeders". They are trying to take advantage of the bubble hysteria. They'll go away also.

Of course there are some markets that have dropped significantly. They tend to be the one the Bubble Bunch on FR focus on.t

Funny how those markets keep working despite the myriad speculators and prognosticators.

lets guesstimate median $700,000 at 4.4% an increase of $31,000 for the year in your "investment" - this is hugh, series, Thailand?

You are citing a mouthpiece for the industry...I'm sure he's not biased or anything.

BTW, NAR said that home prices in Cali would rise this year...what happened?

As the invasion in CA moves north, south, east and west, that 4% will be going in the other direction.

Perhaps. But I don't see LA getting cheaper. It's been invaded for many years.

They have. Overall prices in California rose 5.1% in July over last year.

The article quotes a report issued by an entity, not a person. Here is their website so you can learn all about them.

All of California is already affected by the invasion facilitated by our Federal Goverment and prices are still going up.

BTW the invasion is not exclusive to California.

Has the Mexican food gotten better in your area lately?

Ha! Well, I lived in CA most of my life...50+ years. I'm living in AZ now where you might think it would be worse. Not true. CA is farther along with the invasion and of course, the majority of politicians there are flaming libs. Not so here. Yet!
