Here is the problem with the my way or the highway thinking of the 100%ers.

Ok, you put "principal over party" and split off to form your own group. Ok, 1st think, you have now destroyed any chance of any part of your principals being included in law. You are now politically impotent and getting everything you oppose forced on you by your political foes.

Now, along comes issue Such and Such. Suddenly your new party is confronted with a new divergence of opinion. So putting "principal over party" your party now splits again into parties Aa and Ab. This process continues on and on until it just you and 10 friends sitting around the table patting each other on the back for your ideological purity.

Your party is complete politically irrelevant but boy can you feel really good about your ideological purity. Everything in life requires compromise. The idea that you can have ONLY what you want the second you want it in politics is nonsense.
