EXARKANA, Texas (AP) -- Poisoned pigeons began nose-diving into pavement and dying on downtown sidewalks, marring the city's annual festival.

Authorities cleaned up more than 25 sick or dead birds that apparently had eaten poisoned corn from the roof of a nearby bank branch.

raining with pidgeons... hmm... I once worked for a bank on Whidbey island that had a problem with seagulls. Now THOSE are the real winged rats. They spent so much money on "solutions" to the problem, I should have changed my career from programmer to seagull exterminator specialist. Maybe I should have called Dale Gribble for some advice.
