It was a thing of beauty. The male morning CNN host kept trying to get Tony to respond to the House Majority Leader's statement of yesterday, the one that said Rats were more concerned about protecting Al Qaida than the American people. Tony, rolling his eyes and having none of it, shifted the conversation to the awful things the Rats have been saying and said only moments after the President's 9/11 speech. The CNN guy kept trying to force Tony to "talk about Republicans" and Tony kept explaining to him why that was ridiculous and unfair.
The CNN guy then showed a poll suggesting that 43% of Americans believe Saddam Hussein was linked to 9/11. Tony suggested that this was probably due to the Rats lying about what the President has actually said on this. CNN guy then tried to claim that VP Cheney's statements on MTP last Sunday and Senator Santorum's statements on the Senate floor yesterday actually caused Americans to be confused about the Saddam-9/11 link. Tony hit it out of the park again, saying that both these gentlemen were absolutely correct and that the media and the Rats have been the ones confusing Americans by claiming that "no link to 9/11" means "no link to war on terror."
Tony was terrific!
I just tried to call you.
Tony could run circles around them all and have fun doing it.
Actually I know there are other factors to be considered so it probably is not realistic to think Tony could run. It's been a long time since we had a president who never served in elective office. But the idea is intrigueing. Any conservative president has to be a great communicator since he/she must deal with the filter of the "news" media.
McClellan was the worst Press Sec. this side of Dee Dee Eyebrows
He is having fun. Always smiling and laughing. That must drive them nuts. He will never give them the satisfaction of losing his temper or his cool.
I thought Dee Dee was kinda cute. But she was as worthless as Scott.
WHAT IF?
"It's been five years since 9/11 and Saddam Hussein is still in power and threatening his neighbors and our security. Why hasn't the Administration done anything about Saddam?"
"Reports say terrorists are communicating with accomplices inside this country, planning more attacks on American and its allies. Why hasn't the Administration done anything to monitor these communications?"
"Critics say the Administration has not been proactive in dealing with terror threats while trying to build consensus among our allies before acting. Can you explain our failed diplomacy and hesitancy to take action in order to defend the American people?"
"It now appears Iran, Iraq and North Korea have become serious threats to stability in the world community. Why hasn't the Administration identified these countries as threats and made its case to the American people?
"Since Mr. Bush took office, it is reported that Saddam Hussein has executed or imprisoned more than 20,000 dissidents in Iraq. Why hasn't the Administration led a global effort to stop the human rights violations and attrocities in Iraq?
"Usama bin Laden was killed by American Special Forces just two weeks after 9/11. Critics say bin Laden was tried and convicted and should have been captured and brought before the World Court. Does the Administration regret taking such hasty actions, which may have become a recruiting tool for terrorist organizations?
"Reports show terrorist groups have been using American libraries, funded by the American taxpayers, to do weapons research and to communicate with other potential terrorists. Why has the Administration allowed this to happen?
"Since 9/11, there have been five more major terrorists attacks on American soil and more than 30 around the world, killing more than 3,000 Americans and 25,000 innocent civilians. According to reports, accused terrorists in American control have had information which could have stopped these attacks. Why hasn't the Administration allowed intelligence and military interrogators to use the methods required to extract that information?
OOPs.
Critics say bin Laden was NOT tried and convicted and should have been captured and brought before the World Court.
Tony Snow is one of the Administration's BEST picks. A really effective, intelligent guy.
Mop that clock TONY!!..You wiped the socks right off his face!
Next time add the 'Just Kidding' to your post, OK?
This man is the BEST!
LOL!
Snow also put Mr. Fat Ego Gregory in his place last week.
The Democrat Hacks in the media are looking more and more foolish!

Helen Thomas. Get out! No soup for you!
CONGRATULATIONS, MY FRIEND!
Helen Thomas is very frightful...yes, the old bag is so spiteful
Someone saves the day we know... Tony Snow, Tony Snow, Tony Snow
Scum Gregory had been screaming...poor McClellan got a reaming
Someone saves the day we know... Tony Snow, Tony Snow, Tony Snow
As I'm listening to the news...there is one thing I so want to hear
That the sergeant at arms was called...Helen's thrown out on her rear
Then John Roberts calls seconds sloppy...that guy has a little floppy
Someone saves the day we know... Tony Snow, Tony Snow, Tony Snow
He'll be facing a daily grilling...but thank goodness he is willing
Someone saves the day we know... Tony Snow, Tony Snow, Tony Snow
Stuck on stupid are reporters...from the left come marching orders
Someone saves the day we know... Tony Snow, Tony Snow, Tony Snow
As I'm listening to the news...there is one thing I so want to hear
That the sergeant at arms was called...Helen's thrown out on her rear
GOPers they all try nailing...but for Hillary they're bailing
Someone saves the day we know... Tony Snow, Tony Snow, Tony Snow
"I have never understood how these ivy league educated, intellectual elite cannot understand simple logic. 9/11 is not the entire body of work of Al Qaida. Therefor Saddam can have ties to Al Qaida while not having ties to 9/11. My 4 year old can understand this but these people cannot."
They understand it, it is just that the idea does not support the 'Bush lied' story line.
They have learned that they can say any ridiculous thing and the media will ignore the stupid or untrue parts while repeating it endlessly as though it had merit.
