Did you see the public service ad where they admit that smoking pot won't turn you into a raving psycho. Now their reasoning for throwing pot smokers in jail is that they will just sit on a couch and do nothing. The mind of a Drug Warrior is a terrible waste (or something like that).

They admit that they lied in the past, but now they should be believed when they say that we need to throw couch potatoes in the dungeon!

I love the old drug ads. They were great comedy. William Randolph Hearst made the first one in 1929. "High On The Range" played in movie houses coast to coast. Good natured cowboy Dave takes a couple hits on a reefer, goes loco and kills the ranch foreman.

"Your Brain On Drugs" is the modern equivalent.
