I'm not sure??? My feeling is that it will be a RAZOR thin margin either way. Seems that many polling places are running low on disaffiliation forms in both Cranston (Laffey's turf) and Warwick (Chafee's turf)this would indicate a large number
of unaffiliated voters turning out. The theory has been a large turnout would be a boost to Chafee, we'll find out soon! Another pretty good open thread on this race can be found at http://www.anchorrising.com/

The leading local Rhode Island television station, WJAR-Channel 10, is reporting large primary turnouts, and has sent its top reporter Jim Taricani to Laffey headquarters for the evening (he just reported from there now, 5:00pm).
