Since when has Chafee ever been middle of the road?

You don't live in the real world do you ? Chaffee is to the left of most republicans, but republicans are about 35% of the people. the rest are democrats to the left of chaffee and moderates which is about where chaffee is.

I stand by what I said. Chafee is NOT middle of the road. He is left of center. He is more liberal than almost 50% of the democrats in the senate.
