I think Al Haig gets a bad rap for that, if you listen to his entire statement instead of it being taken out of context, it's much hyped. :)

I agree. He said that he was in charge until the VP got back to the White House.
He was not trying to take over the country like many moonbats like to think.

I think Al Haig gets a bad rap for that, if you listen to his entire statement instead of it being taken out of context, it's much hyped....absolutely - he was actually asked by a reporter "who's running the government?" and replied "I'm in charge here in the White House" - 'rats editing things to make themselves look better didn't start with "Path to 911".....
