For starters, the insurance company has only settled the claims this past year.
For another, the site is owned by the Port Authority of NY/NJ. Too many people demanding to have a say.
The families, the politicians, the actual OWNER of the bldgs.
You might ask your son if he thinks that if $100 was given to his class and each student could pick what they wanted there.......would they ever agree?

That is great advice, thanks! He did catch me off guard this morning, and all I could come up with on short notice was that people could not agree on what to do. He said, why not build them just the way they were? I replied, that would be OK, but why not build them just a little taller, so that the enemy knows we might get hurt, but we will come back bigger and better than ever? He liked that idea.
