The movie definitely caught the demeanor and hangups of Ambassador Bodine. John Miller's book, "The Cell," covered more details, but a decade has to be squeezed into five hours, so compression has to happen. I thought the movie did a surprisingly good job. BTW, Bodine had an ill-fated three weeks of service as the "mayor" of Baghdad, at the beginning of the Iraq war.

I'd never heard of her, and found her appalling. Classic State Department bonehead.

I found tonight's episode riveting--ABC deserves major kudos for producing it and for standing up to the Clintonistas. It should be required watching in every high school in this country.
