I seen that. What are Americans good at? What do they know second to only one people (asbestos steel-panted suit warning - you don't want to stub your toe)? That's right: the money.

Everybody else likes it, everybody else wants it, everybody else will stab their mother in the back for it, and one people in the world (throughout history) are reknown for manipulaing it (as explemplified in Shakespeare).

But American's know and understand money. I'll go so far out on the limb to say that American's invented the very thing that is considered to be money worldwide.

As much as I loathe the NYT, I believe the assessement to be a good one. It was the 911 commission "after-action" report that issued the "grade"; the NYT reported it.

I wish I could just gush kittens and doves, butterflies, rainbows and cuddly frogs, but that's just not the way it is today. I shudder to think of the ramifications of a John sKerry election.

Furthermore, as much as I despise the existing ideology and philosophy of the Democrats who are in power at this time, they (at this time) are the only thing preventing autocracy (and perhaps decent into dictatorship).

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts, absolutely - author unknown

Without liberal politicians, who could possibly move this great ship of state? I think its a great principle of governance that there are two bickering, squabbling adversarial captains of the boat.

I believe that our weakness is that nobody will fall on their own sword any more for honorable intentions; except for maybe terrorists?
