I can't recall hearing about someone "lost" during a cruise prior to reading Carl Hiassen's book Skinny Dip. All of a sudden, it's becoming a regular occurrence.

Chaz Perrone might be the only marine scientist in the world who doesn't know which way the Gulf Stream runs.
