But might be better if we figured out how to behave as a nation in a way that wouldn't make so many people in the world want to kill us."
Yes, he's right.
If we banned alcohol, pork and dogs, treated our women like animals and our animals like inanimate objects, gave up our crazy ideas about human dignity and he right to choose what religion we belong to, I'm sure all the Muslims would stop hating us and welcome us with open arms into Islam.
Andy Rooney should change his name to Andy Looney.

I was watching a show on the History Channel about how difficult it was for Roosevelt to get the nation to see the Nazi threat. As usual they cut to people who gave commentaries and expositions. One of them was Andy Rooney. And he said on two different occasions that he did not recognise the Nazi threat at the time and thought Roosevelt was a war monger. You would think he would have learned something by now, but he is still a squishy, folksy, liberal boob.

In the 1930's the BBC BANNED Churchill from they radio broadcasts because of his "anti-German warnings".
The leading newspapers in France said that the only threat to world peace was the "war mongering" by Churchill and like-minded right wingers.
