They did touch on the fact that it was good the info on the laptop had been found in the Phillippines as the law in the U.S. would not have allowed using it to track down the domestic cells.

The facts presented to the world remain.

The Clinton's personal problems paralyzed their administration, and the country, divided and distracted us, and contributed to the problems we now face.

Good that they touched on that! That laptop was REALLY important. And the point that there were actually restrictions against using things like that to prevent attacks, that's just scary.

The Generals in Afghanistan got everything they wanted when they wanted it where they wanted it. If we hadn't gone into Iraq, we would still not have Bin Laden, attacks would be much worse in Afghanistan as all the terrorists in Iraq today would have gone to Afghanistan instead, and Hussein would still be in power, doing God knows what that we didn't know about, and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's would have died the past three and a half years under his dictatorship, and Qadaffi in Libya wouldn't have surrendered his chemical and biological and nuclear weapons programs, fearful that he'd be removed like Hussein.

So if we hadn't gone into Iraq in March 2003, instead of worrying about North Korea and Iran, and fighting in Afghanistan to a lesser extent because of Iraq, and supporting democracies in both of those natons, we'd be fighting hard in Afghistan, as the only front, where all the terrorists could concentrate against us in much rougher terrain, and have to try and hold off North Korea, Iran, Iraq, AND Libyas WMD programs. Does anyone really think that scenario is more attractive then the situation today? Not me.
