Since some seem to be obsessed on the issue of man's "dominion" over "insensate" animals, I'll let God answer that for Himself

Your comment reminded me of a great book written by a conservative called "Dominion. A long, but thought-provoking read on morality when it comes to our treatment of animals.

If I be seen as irrational, emotional or ridiculous because of how I believe and act, again, I thank God for making me thusly.

I completely agree with you. And you know what? You can almost always tell who is a decent person from the way they treat and think about animals.

Absolutely.

I've also conversely learned to trust my dog's reactions to people.
More than once they've warned me away from people who later did terrible things.

I will look for that book.
