So OBL and his associates do the attacking but don't get blamed?

This is like the survivor of the rape being responsible for the rape instead of the rapist.

Stupid.

I heard an interview this morning with the husband of a wife lost at the Pentagon on 9/11. When asked who he blamed for the loss of his wife, he said the USG. The world has indeed gone mad. The terrorists get a pass. It seems like people have some very high expectations for the USG to insulate them from every and anything.

By definition, half of all Americans are below average intelligence. And, I would estimate, half of the lower half enter college because of the simplistic demand for an "educated electorate" and the fatuous belief that all people entering college can be educated (capable of logical thought). Of the half with above average intelligence, many attend elitist universities where they are educated by subtle and not-so-subtle Marxists. The result? We neither have an educated public, nor an educated electorate.

The fact that 9/11 came as a surprise and shock to most Americans is proof positive that Americans were either stupid or poorly educated. One might forgive the former, but never the latter.

No surprise there. Look at how Juanita Broderick fared after her belated outing of Clinton as her rapist. And I can remember members of the O.J. jury commenting on what Nicole Simpson had done to cause her husband to beat and kill her. Unfortunately there's a certain mindset in this world that will always try to blame the victim instead of the attacker.

"So OBL and his associates do the attacking but don't get blamed?"

That's the way the media reports it, why not?
And Michael Mooreon smeared Bush on whole 911 thing and Howard Dean lets float the absurdity that maybe someone new - does the media call them on it or correct the record? Of course not - partisanship above patriotism.

We need a poll that asks if the media are to blame for terrorism. IMHO they share more blame than any politician.

9/11 first awakened me to the danger that Islamofascist terrorists pose. Then, I saw leftists and liberal Democrats blame the innocent (Bush administration, America, our military) for the crimes of the guilty (Bin Laden, Jihadists). I saw the ACLU tell us we had no right to give law enforcement agencies tools to fight terrorism; I saw Islamic apologists say we had no right to question the flaws of Islam in creating Jihadist terrorism; I saw liberal Democrats put partisanship over patriotism and blame America and Bush for the deaths and violence that terrorists inflicted in Iraq and other countries. I saw those Democrats link arms with extremist Cindy Sheehan, who called Bush a terrorist, and propagandist Michael Moore, who compared terrorists in Iraq to American minutemen.

I saw Democrats time and again put partisanship over patriotism and trying to drag Bush down instead of building America up. Some Americans would rather see the terrorists win just so Bush will lose.

I came to realize that the left in this country is not merely wrong, they are positively dangerous. 9/11 has changed me indeed.
