"The Americans were better than the Iraqis. They treated us better," said Khalid Alaani, who was held on suspicion of involvement in Sunni terrorism.

I'm sure the New York Times will be all over this story!

The left seems to think this is a false story....that the prison is empty and that this news report was written by Rove. Still others say that the US did a better job torturing and muted the screams.

They would still rather think the impossible rather than face the truth of this story. I really hope I never become so blind to the truth that when reality points to the sky being blue, I still see it as plaid and insist that there is a conspiracy to cover that up.

Never have I seen people so blinded by their own hatred that they abandon all morals and cling to anything negative, even when they know its false. Even when, in any other area of their life they would clearly know it to be false, this is their one blind spot.

They attribute such incredible powers to Rove and the President, almost super human powers. It is hard to see how they could overcome such an enemy in their own minds.

They see this enemy having control over nature and the minds of millions. In order to actually believe what they believe, you would have to be convinced that some kind of massive world wide conspiracy occurs every day, all orchestrated to make their life miserable.

So it is not the fact that they dropped out of high school and live in their parent's basement that keeps them from having success in life, it is the world wide plot to ensure that they never get that promotion to fry cook at Burger King. That is what the real motive of all of Karl Rove's actions are, to keep them down.

Just amazing how self centered their attitude is. No wonder they are all on so many meds...

Staff at the jail say the Iraqi authorities have moved dozens of terrorist suspects into Abu Ghraib from the controversial Interior Ministry detention centre in Jadriyah, where United States troops last year discovered 169 prisoners who had been tortured and starved...

----

Explains who they are and where they came from. The last report I saw on TV stated that the prison was now empty.
