Take a look at the footage again. The whole night scene where they locate Ben Laden and seek approval to get him was cut out.

I thought I saw the "seeking approval" portion in the TV version. I saw the discussion, where they were saying (on the TV version) something to the effect -- for him to make the decision. Are you sure you didn't see that on TV?
