I think ABC grew some balls. I didn't detect any cuts.
It occurred to me perhaps why ABC did not pull the film completely off the air. The ABC executives wanted not to be perceived caving to pressure whereas the Clinton Administration caved under pressure to get OBL when they had the chance(s). So ABC bent a little bit to the pressure but did not cave like Berger and Albright.
Conclusion: ABC had some testosterone where Slick et al had none..( except for Monica, Jennifer etc...)
