9. If you watch the video of the towers coming down, You can notice bombs going off in the building.

"Bombs", my asset. I watched the nutballs' "evidence". Pretty damn convenient having bombs explode at just the right time a few floors below the collapsed ones.

When you look through the WTC with the sun behind it, you can see it's practially all windows and very little for walls within. The only solid structure inside has to do with the elevator, staircase and utilities. The weight of the roof and added floors would have plowed through the middle of the building causing so much pressure below that the windows of the floors below would blow out. And weaker parts of the outer structure would simply give out with the force bearing down from above.

The other nutball from Madistain has been playing his conspiracy garbage on the local public access channels - what a bunch of hooie it all is! What an embarrassment to Wisconsin!

Well that image is somewhat misleading because there was a little more to the outer walls than it implies. However that image also is a good representation of why those towers ultimately had to collapse after being hit and burned as they were by the large fuel loaded airplanes.

Compare that to a hypothetical Sears Tower type construction being hit at those levels, the buildings most likely would would not have pancaked all the way to the ground as the towers did. Much more likely the upper storys would have burned out, unusable (and later torn down) but not the collapse of the entire structure as we saw with the WTC's

As far as I know, no other high rise building was ever certified to be built according to that design spec. It made for a fast and relatively cheap construction with good stiffness and integrity as long as nothing too traumatic ever happened to the building. However the design had some serious weakness built into it, especially for a high rise.
