I was also disappointed at the feeble level of thinking that went into this man's blather. He had a shot at a national audience with his foolishness, and what he said was embarrassingly childish. The moderator, I forget who, treated him kindly, and didn't laugh at him, though he should have. The man made a fool of himself, claiming that no aircraft hit the WTC towers, that we we saw on television was "cartoon animation". The moderator remarked that millions of people saw the second plane hit the south tower live on television, that kind of rattled the "professor" but he stuck to his story, as stupid as it was. There is really no point in doing a thorough debunking of all this nonsense at this point, that should be reserved for plausible conspiracy theories. This crap is just asinine, ludicrous, and absurd on its face, if you know the facts. Don't bother debunking it, just dismiss it out of hand, its already been exhaustively debunked... see the famous Popular Mechanics article. Someone will have the link...
