It is rough on Condi (aka Mrs Palmer) and beatifies St. Richard Clarke. I think Condi is a lightweight to be sure, but Clarke dropped the ball as everyone else did, and to make him a hero is a sick joke.
I was kind of surprised how sweet-smelling R. Clarke came out in part one.
Excepting the above, the director really did a good job in portraying those who had authority and were comfortable using it vs. those with small minds who were caught fumbling in the dark with their keys at the door when the terrorists were on the other side.
