Well said.

Were you at the WTC on 9/11?

Here's as good a spot as any to put in my tribute to David Prium, who worked in the investment industry and perished in the World Trade Center.

I knew him as a college student who lived on my wing in the dorm, and we sat together in Poli Sci class. He was a big farm kid and football player, not the kid you'd expect to move out to New York City. He was quiet and gentle, always ready to help. The kid you'd want to marry your daughter.

He's only one of many, but it helps me to remember by focusing on the one that I knew personally.

No. However, I was nearby. I was already retired and completely by coincidence, happened to be downtown that day. I came out of the subway to see 1WTC burning. I saw the second plane hit.
I had spent almost 20 yrs. working in and around those buildings as a field tech. I knew people murdered that day and I knew firemen killed trying to save them.
