I don't think it insulates him, it makes it apparent that he wouldn't make decisions that could be traced to him. He left it to his appointees, who were terribly inept. And because of his methods our country was attacked and thousands of innocent people killed.

I am referring to the portrayal of Clinton in this movie. Clinton is not being part of the decisionmaking process, but we know he was. We can trace decisions to Clinton, but the implication is that he was so involved with the Monica case that he couldn't devote the time necessary to get Osama. Yet, Clinton is claiming continually that he was almost obsessed with getting Osama and decided to launch the missile attack against UBL in Afghanistan.

Starts with "you have just seen a fictionalized and dramatized" blah blah blah..

Bubba really seems to be left out of this, kinda makes me wonder if this is not his lawyers at work.
