It was edited, but still made Clinton look very bad.

He does not come off smelling like roses and the gist that Berger refused to give the go-ahead is STILL in there, slam the phone or not.

I would hardly call this a cave. They did some minor editing to appease the Clintons, but the overall effect is still in there.

And they left in Albright saying they informed the govt. about the action against OBL.

I am pretty happy so far. Would I have liked everything to stay intact? Of course.

But, the edits were so minor the overall effect is the same.

What they appear to have done is to insulate Clinton from most of the criticism. Instead, his underlings take the fall. Clinton is nowhere to be seen in the decisionmaking process.

You don't understand... part of the deal was they would edit the Bush bash night with dirt.

I wonder if they'll have a roundtable and 'special' guests to debunk those tomorrow night? Nope, no Ben Veniste and the usual suspects like tonight to debunk tonight's view./s
