I Love this...
9/11 Actor: "Brouhaha Is Based in Hindsight" Donnie Wahlberg, who plays a CIA field agent embedded in Afghanistan in ABC's The Path to 9/11, feels the ongoing "brouhaha is based in hindsight." Speaking to TVGuide.com on Thursday afternoon, he said, "There's a stink being made because certain people aren’t happy with the way they're portrayed, but the reality is that in most cases, the producers took a gentle hand [and] were very careful to not make it look one-sided or make people look bad." Wahlberg says the mini simply offers an unfortunate but true look at the questionable decisions leading up to 9/11.

"There were mistakes made, by many people. And those who see themselves portrayed in it, they're going to be sensitive about it. But everything's different in hindsight." For more from Donnie Wahlberg, the star of CW's upcoming serialized thriller, Runaway, visit TVGuide.com Insider this Sunday.

Good for Donnie Wahlberg. He was really good as the solid Sgt. Lipton
in "Band of Brothers". I suspect he'll be great as the field operator
for the CIA in "Path".
