That is what I haven't been able to understand about this all week. The Clintons are supposedly incredibly PR savvy and yet they've drawn all this attention to this movie that they supposedly didn't want folks to see. The only thing I can think of is either they're not a smart as they're supposed to be OR the movie is so damaging they had no choice but to try and stop it from being aired unedited. And if the Clintons were as well connected as they used to be, this program would never have been created or it would have been created with a Clinton slant.
It's good to see this program get as far as it has. It will be great to see it go all the way and get broadcast here in the U.S., unedited.
In the clips I saw Clinton played himself, so there was no creative license taken there, and the other stories revolved around his own words and actions... that leaves me to believe they are in a panic to weave history in their own direction and this move usurps that....
I also believe this is why Burglar took the documents out of the archives and likely replaced them with the Clinton version of events instead of the original documents.
