That is what the writer said...even if they cut out the Berger hang-up scene and the one with Albright and where Clinton is labeled as being distracted with Monica....even then, the whole movie is SO tilted as to make it anti-Clinton that the only way to fix it is to not run it at all.

Now, Bush doesn't come off smelling like a rose either, but much more so than Clinton.

And, Bush's speech will interrupt it tomorrow, so he will get to essentially air his side of the events while being criticized in the movie.

So, that is pretty flippin' sweet if you ask me.

ABC may have sent out notes saying the film would be edited to try to generate buzz, only to really have not edited any of the offending scenes out.

If I was ABC, at this point, I would be so angry that even if I was sensitive to their complaints, I would NOT be editing them out. To have somebody challenge my right to air what I want to air would piss me off so much I would air it unedited, even if I agree with the person complaining.

I figure there has to be a ton of truth in the movie to have the Clintoons and clintonistas howling all the way to Mars about it.

" Now, Bush doesn't come off smelling like a rose either "

According to People Magazine's review-both administrations passed the buck and the movie spread blame equally.
But, then they say that the Hollywood actors cannot avoid putting their own anti Bush feelings into their roles-they call it emotional editorializing.
They cite as evidence the woman playing Condi Rice - she played Sherry Palmer on 24.
" Then we see National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice reading ( and not acting on ) that memo warning about Al-Queda.
Then during the attacks, she looks-is it sheepishly guilty ? "
