Though it is obvious to point out both Kerry and Murtha's peacenik and anti-American attitude, something has been missed in their character, a far deeper flaw that should be exploited.

They are the stuff that war criminals are made of. They do not have the intestinal fortitude for an honorable fight.

Let me explain. I'll start with Kerry. He went to Vietnam already filled with the most vile imaginings of what war was about. In his mind, firing wildly at "the enemy", then torturing and slaughtering him and everyone else in a brutal and savage manner. No rules to war, just slaughter. These were his expectations, which also explains his contempt and hatred for the military. Vietnam as abattoir. Soldiers and Sailors are just butchers.

A man without discipline, honor, or any code of justice. This is how not only can he gun down an unarmed boy fleeing from him, but how he can make a movie of himself behaving in a heroic manner, afterwords. He knows it is a lie, and yet he panders to the lie. Because he assumes that it is ALL a lie, that everyone is like him in their dishonor.

And how he can say, "We all committed war crimes". Because he truly believes it. Not "I was following orders", but "WE were all following orders." If given written instructions to "take that village", he even imagines "take that village and murder its inhabitants." In his mind, that is what his orders meant.

Murtha, on the other hand, can be given credit for actually slaughtering the enemy. And he should be given full credit for the deaths of dozens of Vietnamese. Here is a man who is responsible for acts of carnage, however necessary, carried out by others following the rules of war. And yet his mindset is similar to Kerry's.

Does he imagine that because of his actions, enemy and their families were rounded up then slowly tortured to death? Did being in Army Intelligence make him so jaded and cynical that he truly believes that war crimes are the norm? And yet, for years he was a Reserve Officer.

And this is the bottom line. He believes that war means turning our military loose to commit heinous acts, and thus "all war is bad"; but AT THE SAME TIME, he accepts within himself the rank and responsibility to ORDER and FACILITATE the commission of such war crimes.

Both men believe in evil, and have embraced evil as an expectation, so feel free to condemn evil they imagine in their fellow man. Evil was a good stepping stone to their political power.

Good rant but you give Kerry too much credit. He, and many of his leftists associates, do not believe what they say. They are simply opportunistic liars who have no standards or morality other than a pretense to them when useful.
