Democrats need/want a wedge issue in the hope of winning in November and in 2008. As long as the public relates 9-11 to the WOT and Iraq, the Democrats lose. Their only hope is to separate the two.

And I agree with Cheney, that it is unlikely the gop will lose in the fall. I cannot believe there are that many stupid voters. Usually the stupid ones don't bother and the silent majority RED America is always underestimated.

I think the democrats are going over the top with Path to 9/11 for the same reason they wanted the 9/11 Report.

They don't want people to read or watch DEMOCRATS WANT TO CLAIM THE ISSUE.

this way they can waive the report (but don't read it)
this way they can rail agains a documentary (but don't watch it)

this way they can use two useful idiot fool senate rinos to say that IRAQ has nothing to do with the WOT.

Then they can say republicans lie lie lie in the lead up to november.
