Dear Aussibabe and Aussibabe's Husband:
Thanks so much for updating us on the 9/11 program as it is broadcast in Australia. I think most of us on Free Republic would be satisfied if it accurately depicted the mistakes or worse of both the Clinton and the Bush administrations. A lot of us are anxious because some powerful politicians are threatening legal action to censor the show -- this is something incredible and I think unprecedented in the United States.

actually the democrats have ZERO chance, legally, of succeeding. In addition, the second they file the suit they open themselves up to a counter suit.

There was much poo pooing by the talking heads regarding the viability of the threat. This is more "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!!!!" BS.

That said, Clinton's lawyers launch a blistering (ha ha) second letter to ABC. Perhaps he can next send a blue ribbon democrat study pannel...

The Clintons found an enemy they can love, Mickey Mouse Inc.

(perhaps now the homsoexuals will stay away from Disney Parks)

Actually, the Democrat reaction is not unprecedented at all. They have a history of taking legal actions to get their way when things are not going as they want them to. Voters be damned, the ACLU and Democrats file law suits faster than Kerry can say he served in Vietnam when they get upset. As long as the left has influence in the courts this will continue. One more reason to elect Republicans to the Senate this year and a Republican president in 2008.
