Did you notice that Condi had to remind Chris Wallace that "I am Secretary of State...."? (First time I've ever heard her say it or need to say it.)
She was saying it in response to Wallace's question about her role and influence including supplanting the VP's influence. In the context of the question, she is trying to educate Wallace that she has a defined role as SecState, which is different from the one played by the VP.
I have not seen Wallace yet, but when he comes on I will watch for that. What a dope. Must have had breakfast with his father.
Some (most) in Fox just say Rice whereas they say madam secretary for Albright. Likewise, President Clinton (not even former) & Mr.Bush. It 's one of those things that drives me angry at Fox.
Not watching Wallace. Can you give me the context of Dr. Rice making that comment.......I am Secretary of State.

I saw that. I have noticed a pattern with her interview appearances. She always has a terrific closing statement. That she gave today's closer with such a broad smile made me think that she was thinking, "you can't catch me, Mr Wallace. I deal with idiots all the time, and I know how to say what I want to say."
