Just giving women a choice. Isn't that what the left says it wants?

It is in nearly all of Europe. Thanks to Roe v. Wade, the US has the most liberal abortion laws in the entire world.

But, but, but,... aren't we supposed to be more like Europe? You know, if it's good enough for Europe, it's good enough for us? What about applying that standard in this situation, too?

Shameful isn't it? Especially this one:

"Its a shame that evangelical and religious organizations arent more concerned with the welfare of the living. They support the murder of people all over the world that dont agree with their dogma but will go to any lengths to save a fetus."

Are there any centers where people can go to see if there is any brain activity left in their heads? If so, I would suggest that person seek help immediately.

Look Now!! You people do not need to know what happened on the "Path to 9/11" and you sure as hell do not need to know what YOUR BABY LOOKS LIKE.

Tricking women and young girls into having babies is dishonest, and will ultimately lead to depression in young women who have been given false information.

I find it quite alarming that these faith-based centers would use deception as a tactic.

Now showing a sonogram is propaganda and trickery! Incredible.

The only thing that bothers me about this deception is that after the baby is born, these people dont do one damn thing to help support, feed, clothe and educate the mothers who really need the post partum assistance. By their legislative indifference, they make it even more difficult for the mother to raise the child. Especially for minority parents, these are the same people that excoriate the mothers when they encounter these single parent children when they have to pass judgment on the children in the judicial system. Hypocrites!

Exactly how do these imbeciles know this?

My conservative, Christian brother and his family are deeply involved in a local child placement program for young, unprepared mothers (read "disadvantaged, uneducated", and, not to mention, "unwed"). The organization provides extensive care and counseling for the willing mother throughout the crisis pregnancy and then places the child with an eager, loving family. My brother's family foster parents these newborn babies, many with physical difficulties related to drug addiction and other health problems of the mother (some of the stories of these young girls are incredible) until the required legal requirements are met by the adopting parents. Believe me, there is NEVER a shortage of willing adoptive parents, even for the infants with horrendous deformities and health issues. The fiction that a baby not aborted may be unwanted is a political lie of the most vicious sort.

Its a shame that evangelical and religious organizations arent more concerned with the welfare of the living. They support the murder of people all over the world that dont agree with their dogma but will go to any lengths to save a fetus.

A fetus? Try many millions since Roe v. Wade was proclaimed in 1972.

"environmental issue" -- let's make a leap here. If you don't believe in Global Warming, you shouldn't try to stop an abortion by someone who knows better. Some people think things are so bad and the tundra is melting and the ocean currents are mutating that they'd rather kill their babies. I guess that's how the logic goes....?

There was a case in Illinois where the Supreme Court decided that it was a legal abortion for the baby to be killed after it was born, because the umbilical cord was still attached.

Here is an idea for all your pro-life people. Call your state representative and state senator (not the US rep and senator) and ask them to sponsor a bill that would require abortion clinics to ultrasound EVERY woman who comes in there to verify how far along she is and then offer them the chance to see their baby. My state senator has submitted asuch a bill every year but the 'Rat controlled Senate (by means of two RINO's that voted for a 'Rat to be speaker of the Senate) has killed it every time. But she still submits it.

Abortion rights activists are calling for tighter regulations

They should be careful what they wish for...

I don't fall into either catagory. I would say I am pro-choice but with alot of restrictions.

I am NOT pro abortion. I am NOT for outlawing abortions altogether.

I am for giving absolutely all truthful information to newly pregnant woman(such as sonograms, long term affects, etc.) And make it law that they have to see and hear this stuff.

Make putting up the child for adoption an easier road to take.

Make keeping the child as easy as possible.

Make abortions legal ONLY in first trimester and only allowed after the above has been seriously tried.

I don't think that any person should be forced to parent a child they don't want to parent. That is just cruel to the child. But I do not agree with killing babies as the first course of action for the conveinience of the mother.

The pro-abortion crowd, of course, see these centers as a threat.

So does Eliot Spitzer, whose enthusiam for abortion is paralleled only by Charles Schumer. He tried some of his mafiosa tactics to shut them down in NY only to be stopped by bad press (the only thing dangerous to one of his type).

So CareNet Cneters are successfully convincing women not to abort.

I thought Pro-Choice activists wanted abortion to be safe, legal, and RARE.

Last year, Allyson Kirk, 24, of Manassas, a student at Northern Virginia Community College, became pregnant.... When Kirk was shown a video depiction of a fetus's head being severed during a surgical abortion, she walked out.

"I was outraged," Kirk said. She recalled saying: "This is horrible. I can't believe you do this to women who are lost and looking for help."

Can you say morally bankrupt boys and girls? I knew you could.

"I was outraged," Kirk said. She recalled saying: "This is horrible. I can't believe you do this to women who are lost and looking for help."

It is becoming more and more apparent that most people, when shown the simple, unbiased, cold, objective, scientific truth about the fetus and what abortion does to it, will come to abhor the procedure.

THAT IS WHY the pro-aborts who have a vested interest in retaining abortion - be it for direct financial reasons (read: providers), for cultural reasons (read: Hollywood), or maintaining a delicately held personal illusion to protect their own phyche from their own experiences (read: many, but not all, of the masses of poor unfortunates who have subjected themselves to this procedure) - fight any such attempts at exposure with such passionately shrill desperation.

The irony:

It is precisely the Sexual Revolution's severance of the relationship between sex and pregnancy underwritten by abortion-on-demand (and to a lesser extent birth control) that created the very environment that normalized this young lady's out-of-wedlock sexual escapades in the first place. Thus, were it not for the easy availability of abortion, she very likely would be living in a culture that frowned upon such fornication and therefore would not have needed to seek abortion in the first place.
