Wow where to begin. Looks like our attempt to train the Iraqi army to control their prisons failed. Makes one wonder as to what ELSE will fall apart as our guys stand down.
I get a real kick out of those on this thread who are APPLAUDING prisoners being treated in this manner. While having your orgasim, keep in mind that our troops are fighting and dying to ensure that the Iraqis become confident towards and support this infant government. This type of neglect and cruelty aint gonna help. Unless of course you're just interested in inflicting suffering.

Nobody wants Iraq to devolve into total chicanery, but I think river rat's post #32 makes some sense. It may work in our favor.

Looks like our attempt to train the Iraqi army to control their prisons failed. Leopards don't change their spots. It's a cultural thing. Iraqis are used to using "other" non ACLU methods to deal with their scumbags.
That in itself doesn't mean we failed

If this is why our troops are fighting and dying, then they are doing so in vain.

>"Unless of course you're just interested in inflicting suffering."is-Slime seems to do well enough on its own in this matter. The Iraqi constitution is controlled by the queeranus/is-Slime.
So its not gonna be pretty. Untill the slaves of satanallahs "religion" renounce their slavery to satan, it never will be!

You're assuming that the Iraqi's have the tax base and the public support to treat their criminals humanely. Most middle eastern countries do not.
Their religion demands harsh treatment (including beheading) for criminals. Have you not read about the death sentences for changing religions from Islam? Or honor killings? Or the 27 executions they just had at that prison?
We did not go to Iraq to make it a middle eastern America. We went to enforce UN mandated sanctions. The Iraqi's will govern how they wish to.
