Osama building day care centers is different from building airfields for the Baathist gov. in Iraq. Where Osama build day care centers would have been to get poor ignorant Muslims inside a failed state on his side. Just like Hezbollah does, and Hamas, in their areas of infiltration and control. So they get the masses in the palm of their hand.
To build airports for a soverign nation makes no sense to me. And I'm talking about Osama's al-qaeda terrorist group, NOT the construction company owned by Osama's family. If Sada is saying Osama's family's BUSINESS built the airports as a business deal, that is quite different than Sada establishing that Saddam and Osama's al-qaeda terrorist organization were working together.

Osama built Saddam's airfields? I don't get it. Osama has a civil engineering degree and his family owns a construction company.

Please, all who have mentioned Osama's family's construction and engineering businesses, see post #21. That clarifies at least where my original post was coming from. Thanks...

Bizarre, but not out of the realm of possibility.

Wasn't there strong evidence that Saddam's Oil for Food program financed 9/11?
To: txrangerette

He's written another book? I think the first one is a MUST-READ for anyone wanting to know the truth about life with Saddam. He was a very brave Christian general who never gave Saddam the rosy words most of the yes-men under Hussein would. He told it like it was and for that reason, Saddam as sick as he was respected him.
I'd like to read the new one. Even in the first one he said he saw the hollowed out planes that were meant to carry the WMDs to Syria.

Oops! The Left will denounce him as a Bush shill! Why, the just released Senate "intelligence" reports says such ties between Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein never existed. The Iraqi Air Force General must either have been paid by Bush to say it or he's ignorant of the central fact: Iraq is NOT a part of the War On Terror. It was a mistake and Saddam was never America's enemy. I'm sure you hear what the Democrats are saying here, General. And they will hate you just as they hate Bush.

Osama's career as a professional engineer and running his OWN construction battalions is common knowledge.
He not only raised funds from rich Arabs to finance the Mujahadeen battle against the Soviets in Afghanistan, he also built Tora-Bora.
Presumably he built other things.
Why it should be impossible to believe that Osama Bin Laden was involved in building airfields (for military purposes) in Iraq is simply unimagineable.
Very wealthy, multi-billionaire professional engineers with construction companies build stuff!
They also figure out how to knock down buildings with jetliners and so on.

And the rest of the story: When we finally get the whole story, we will find out the following:
Sudan didn't kick OBL out to have better relations with the U.S.; they kicked him out because he was broke and couldn't pay the "fee" demanded.
OBL needed money and Saddam needed another method to wage war against the U.S. Saddam financed OBL's rise to power in Afghanistan. Saddam and OBL were rivals for the same job (emperor of the new Islamic empire), however that was several years into the future and they needed each other.
Not only did WMD go to Syria, but at the last minute before the war, the Russians tricked Saddam into letting them fly out the "nuclear program" for "safe keeping".
It was a quick trip to Baghdad, even with the sandstorm. Hundreds of terrorists, dispersed and hidden weapons cashes, safe houses, bomb making factories didn't just magically appear in and around Baghdad and other locations. They were there long before we invaded and were organized and coordinated.
As for justification, who cares. Any Top Flight Global Military Strategist knows that Iraq is the Key Stone to the whole War on Terror against the Islamofacists. We had to go into Iraq to have the best chance of succeeding. Lucky for us, Saddam gave us plenty of valid reasons. That made it a little easier to push our "soft enemies" in line.
If you can't go into every country to kill terrorists, then how do you get them to come to you? Throw a "party" in Iraq and invite them all to die like women. It's like a sweet smelling ant trap. What is the opposite of a new Islamic empire stretching from Indonesia to France (with a big chunk of the worlds oil)? A collection of free, individual countries apposed to new dictatorial rule.
Lastly: Why do they hate us? Because they have been told to hate us and freedom, from the time they were 3 years old, by dictators that blamed their terrible social condition on Israel and the U.S. (Freedom bad, your beloved dictator good) And wait till someone connects the dots to all the tenticals coming from Mecca. The would be power behind the future emperor.

The Fox babe was asking him how this could be true givin the new "CIA report" denying claims. The new CIA mantra: Hey! We didn't used to be able to tell our heads from our tails...but you can trust us now.
Bwahahaha.

If you're not a journalist already ... you should consider it. Very nicely done. Thanks.
