I think it's time to start giving the Republicans part of the blame for this kind of treason as well. I say this because they are the party in power, control the House, Senate, and the Presidency. They have had control of all of these things for almost 6 years now and have done absolutely nothing to curtail the treason and sedition being carried out on a daily basis by the left/msm. Why the hell wouldn't the left keep committing treason if they know that they are never going to be held responsible.

I find it ironic because we blast the UN for being weak - "stop doing that or we will write you a nasty letter and tell you to stop again". Well, how is the Republican response, or rather non-response, to treason and sedition any different than that?

And what is it they should do? The Republicans have no influence worth mentioning over the AP or other leftist media. They can't repeal the First Amendment.

The same is true for conservatives at large. We had practically no voice, and no recourse for it, until we set up alternative media. We had one little magazine, National Review, and one little publishing house, Regnery. They both did well but the deck was horribly stacked. Rush Limbaugh gets credit for breaking the liberal monopoly. He was Hannibal crossing the Alps. Since that time we have come far with talk radio, cable and Internet outlets.

One of the most effective counter-media, counter-treason, activist voices is right here -- Free Republic. This time let Dan Rather do the despairing. This time let AP know a Freeper caught them in the act. Let's roll.
