Senator Feinstein cited Israel’s recent alleged use of cluster bombs in Lebanon as a factor in proposing this amendment.
All of southern Lebanon was and is one giant Hezbo nest. All of the Hezbo combatants are "civilians" because none wear uniforms. The so-called "innocent civilians" are there to provide cover to the combatant "civilians." Using cluster bombs on them is just as legitimate as fire bombing and nuking the Germans and Japanese was during WWII. This proposed amendment rewards subhuman Islamofascist terrorists for willfully violating the Geneva Convention and using human shields.

CyberAnt you're right. This is an old article from the 5th, and was posted. It is now old news and a non issue. This thread is just eating bandwidth.

Clearly, Sens. Feinstein and Leahy haven't forgotten that we cluster-bombed that refugee convoy in the Balkans. It's nice to see that their memories of that incident are still fresh.

This is getting more and more prevelant on this website - more and more TOTALLY IRRELEVANT THREADS are being posted here - and some of them, like this one - are already settled issues.
Seems like the MoveOn and DU people have found a way to distort everything. But .. I will be watching on election day when they go down to A MAJOR DEFEAT again!!

Since we're dropping these horrible "cluster bombs" on the locations inhabited by the enemy or supporting the enemy -- perhaps the delayed detonation is a design feature included to carry a constant "reminder" to the Jihadists that the "infidels" have or may return....
