I'm afraid I'm old enough to recollect that "Rolling Stone" Magazine had
a shocker in one of their polls on music fans.
IIRC, it found that Pink Floyd was very popular with Republicans.

(I suspect they lied to the pollsters in order to sound cool and to
pick up chicks!)
