You are so right. This is not the Runaway-Bride from Georgia. This is a U.S. Air Force Major, the only female ever to consecutively win the A.F. Marathon, and a newlywed who was one day prior to coming home, with a honeymoon and the Marine Corps Marathon to look forward to. Freepers or anyone on the FReeper boards who post disparaging remarks about our military ought to lose privileges here. This is simply wrong and should be unheard of here. Sometimes these days, I swear this place can be mistaken for DU.

03 - 4 Years - 2 Years - Best Qualified - Selection Board 95-100%

04 - 9-11 Years - 3 Years - Best Qualified - Selection Board 80%

05 - 15-17 Years - 3 Years - Best Qualified - Selection Board 70%

06 - 21-23 Years - 3 Years - Best Qualified - Selection Board 50%


The commissioned ranks are the highest in the military. These officers hold presidential commissions and are confirmed at their ranks by the Senate. US Air Force officers are called company grade officers in the pay grades of O-1 to O-3, field grade officers in pay grades O-4 to O-6 and general officers in pay grades O-7 and higher.

O-1 - Second Lieutenant (2nd. Lt)
O-2 - First Lieutenant (1st. Lt.)
O-3 - Captain (Capt.)
O-4 - Major (Maj.)
O-5 - Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col.)
O-6 - Colonel (Col.)
O-7 - Brigadier General (Brig. Gen.)
O-8 - Major General (Maj. Gen.)
O-9 - Lieutenant General (Lt. Gen.)
O-10 - General (Gen.)
