NO I didn't misunderstand. Whether someone volunteers or not doesn't change the fact that it is not that person who decides acceptable military procedure. Ultimately it's the body politic who determines that. There are always those who will accept duty they aren't suited for.

Folks,

She's an officer. Not enlisted. She's an officer. Officers don't go AWOL in her circumstance. She could just make a phone call and say she won't be in on some particular day. If she wanted several days off, that's a phone call too.

Making major at age 33 is not unusual. She finished college/Academy on time, which would translate to 2nd Lt at age 21, 1st Lt at age 23ish, then Captain at age 25. She's 33. Eight yrs as a Captain is very normal.

There is nothing unusual in her rank/age.

If someone wants to fight Islamos and we train them how to do it why should you want to look in their pants?

I say give them pink uniforms so those Mohammadeon myrmidons will know without a doubt it was a woman that dusted them into a dirt-nap.
