In the reply to the laughers that I just posted, I deleted the part I'd typed about how possible it is that she was also raped. Thank you for mentioning it. As I just posted, it is beyond me how people can laugh at an Air Force Major who was "apparently beaten" and had been missing for days.

I doubt this article would have had the jeers it's gotten on FR if the Major were a male.

I'm afraid you're right about it being a male. Nothing funny about this...may turn out she flaked out, but to start off with that hypothesis with so little to go on is ridiculous.
