Humor has no place in public discouse where one cannot be sure of a common idiom with your audience. Just today I noticed a syndicated columnist decrying the common perception of your 'satire'. Satire is a most difficult mode to properly carry off, otherwise it is mere slapstick and vaudeville. Tagline...
