I guess because of our culture, everything around us. No more stability at home, divorce. On another thread I read that this child is HIV Positive, was born that way. Mother died of AIDS. It is a said case all the way around. But that is our culture, it is what these kids see everyday.
After the breakdown of the family, the rest just goes to pot.
Where were the teachers in all this? They're trained to identify at-risk kids. This child was failed by more than her own family.
